Unité, the Swiss association for the exchange of personnel in development cooperation, has been ensuring that the assignments of its member organisations meet high quality standards for 60 years. We do this through standard setting, evaluations and training.
Our association consists of 9 regular and 4 associate members. Together with their partner organisations in the countries of the Global South, they contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. In partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), we are committed to effective, sustainable and fair development cooperation with our partners in the Global South.
The 9 regular members receive core contributions from SDC via Unité for their personnel development cooperation programmes. All details about the SDC core contribution and its use can be found on the page about our institutional programme on the German or French website. The 4 associate members do not receive federal contributions via Unité, but they can participate in our training programmes and benefit from our quality management system.
